Simon K.Y.Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship for the Hearing Impaired Students

The Simon K. Y. Lee & Lee Chi Hung Scholarship for Hearing Impaired Students 2019/20 aims at enabling hearing impaired students who have normally completed Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent to pursue local post-secondary education in accredited institutions in Hong Kong.

The Scholarship will be granted on an annual basis. Depending on the need of the candidate, part of the cost of technical aids and supportive services like sign language interpretation and notes taking services will be granted.

Eligibilities

• All needy and outstanding hearing impaired individuals whose hearing loss in the better ear is in the region of 50db or higher;
• Applicants must have resided in Hong Kong continuously for not less than three years.
