Day3:Communicating in the Silence (diversAbility - a festival for All)
Following the Hong Kong Sign Language Day on 18 September, the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf is bringing our campus their techno-games on deaf and the HK sign language -- a VR game to experience how you communicate as a person without hearing plus a mobile app to compete with other people in HK on your sign language learning!
Please also spare your time to meet the deaf baristas from My Little Coffee and Deaf Cafeteria. After learning some HK sign language for communicating with them, you will be able to order your cup of coffee and cookies -- to be environmental friends, participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own cups.
Come with your peers to have learn some Hong Kong sign language vocabularies and practice! Participants will get the BLACK stamp for redeeming a limited edition tote bag.
How does the stamp collection game work?
During the festival, participants will be given a different color stamp by taking part in the booth games on each day. By collecting three different color stamps, participants can redeem a tote bag specially designed for showing your support to students with special educational needs.
